This policy explains what information Pawlette Studio (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit our website or book an appointment, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest — the same way we run the studio.
What we collect
When you use our contact or booking forms, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, information about your dog, and your message or appointment preferences. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Like most websites, our hosting provider also processes basic technical data — such as IP address and browser type — to deliver the site securely.
How we use your information
To respond to your enquiries and confirm, prepare, and manage grooming appointments.
To keep simple client records — coat notes, preferences, and visit history — so every groom starts where the last one ended.
To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes unrelated to running the studio. Your dog’s photos appear in our gallery or on social media only with your permission — you can opt in or out at any visit.
Cookies & analytics
This website uses only the cookies necessary to function, plus privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.
Third-party services
Our website is built and hosted with Framer, and form submissions are processed through Framer’s infrastructure. If you interact with embedded maps, those are served by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies subject to Google’s privacy policy. We choose service providers carefully and share only what is required for them to work.
How long we keep data
Enquiries and booking details are kept for as long as you remain a client, plus a reasonable period afterwards for bookkeeping. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your records at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy, or have it deleted. Just email us — no forms, no hoops. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and adjust the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged to newsletter subscribers directly.
