Our services
Pawlette provides professional dog-grooming services by appointment: baths, full grooms, deshedding, puppy introductions, nail and dental care, and related add-ons. All services are performed with fear-free, consent-based handling — which means your dog’s wellbeing always outranks the finish. If a dog needs the session to end early, we will end it early and discuss next steps with you.
Appointments & punctuality
Appointments are one-on-one and reserved exclusively for your dog. Please arrive within ten minutes of your slot; arriving significantly late may shorten the service or require rescheduling. Booking requests made through this website are confirmed personally by text or email before they are final.
Cancellations & no-shows
Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours, or missed appointments, may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booked service, at our discretion. Nervous first-timers who need to bail are always forgiven once.
Pricing & payment
All prices listed on this website are starting rates. The final price depends on size, coat condition, and temperament, and is confirmed with you before the groom begins — never after. Heavy matting adds $15 per additional half hour of careful work; we will always call you before continuing beyond the agreed quote. Payment is due at pickup.
Health, safety & vaccinations
Dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations. Please tell us about health conditions, allergies, injuries, or behavioural quirks before the appointment — it changes how we work, not whether we welcome you. We reserve the right to pause or stop a groom if continuing would put your dog or our team at risk; in that case you pay only for what was done.
If we notice anything during a groom that we believe needs a veterinarian’s attention, we will tell you the same day.
Matting & coat condition
Severe matting is painful to brush out. Where a coat cannot be safely dematted, we will recommend a humane shave-down and a fresh start, and we will not proceed without your agreement. We do not perform extensive dematting that causes distress — kindness beats length, every time.
Photography
We love a good before-and-after. With your permission, we photograph dogs for their grooming report cards and occasionally for our gallery and social media. You can opt out — entirely or per photo — at any time, and we will remove any published photo of your dog on request.
Liability
We treat every dog as if it were our own, and we carry full professional insurance. We are liable for damage caused by our negligence; we are not liable for reactions or conditions that could not reasonably have been detected, or for issues arising from undisclosed health or behavioural problems. Pre-existing conditions discovered during grooming will be documented and shared with you.

Governing law
